I began working with Harrisonburg Public City Schools in the spring of 2022. Through my position I hope to integrate students in their school communities, build relationships, and create positive school engagement. 

Before coming to work for Harrisonburg City School, I worked for 9 years with the local child welfare department and I have worked in the human services field for over 15 years in Virginia and Oregon. 

I graduated from Eastern Mennonite University in 2007 and grew up in the Shenandoah Valley. When I’m not working, I enjoy biking and spending time with my family and friends. Harrisonburg is a great community and I’m happy to call it my home.
