The World Is My Classroom is an initiative by our Superintendent Dr. Richards to foster more real-world learning across our city schools by supporting innovative projects that connect students with experts and audiences beyond our school campuses.
We're looking for projects that are:
- focused on real world skills
- designed for equitable access for all kinds of students
- relevant
- authentic
- linked to Virginia Standards of Learning
- built on community partnerships
HCPS educators can submit an application for a project idea here. Please note that this grant program is intended to be an incubator for innovative ideas and programs, and not for annually recurring events.
