The Harrisonburg City School Board is a six-member legislative body whose primary function is to ensure that an educational program of high quality is established and continually maintained. Business meetings are held at 7:00 pm on the first Tuesdays of each month and work sessions are held at 5:30 pm on the third Tuesdays of the month. All meetings are open to the public and community members are invited to attend.

The school division uses a paperless school board meeting format.  All agendas and minutes (once approved) are posted at the following link which utilizes BoardDocs.  Click on the Meetings tab to see the current meeting (most recent and/or upcoming).  Under the Meetings section, click on the down arrow to view meeting minutes from previous years.  Meeting minutes for years not listed can be viewed at Central Office.
