Rosetta Stone and HCPS - Partners in Learning

Through a partnership with Rosetta Stone (which began in Harrisonburg and still has a large office here) HCPS has a limited number of Rosetta Stone accounts which can be used by staff and students. The accounts are usually used to practice languages we teach: Spanish, French, Latin, and English (for ESL students). Accounts are also available for learning other languages based on student/staff need, including: Arabic, Chinese (Mandarin), Dutch, Filipino (Tagalog), German, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Irish, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Persian (Farsi), Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Swahili, Swedish, Turkish, and Vietnamese.

Students enrolled in middle and high school language courses are usually given account information in class. If your HCPS student would like to use Rosetta Stone at home, please email Foreign Language Coordinator Jeremy Aldrich with the student's first and last name, 5-digit ID number (the same as their lunch number), and which language the student would like to learn. If you are a staff member of HCPS and would like a Rosetta Stone account, please email Karen Campbell with the language you would like to learn. The login page for HCPS Rosetta Stone accounts is here.
