Advisory Committee

Mission and Goals

To involve parents and the community in the education of gifted students by:

• selecting Local Advisory Committee members that represent the geographical and ethnic makeup of our school division;
• scheduling at least four Local Advisory meetings per year;
• reviewing our gifted plan annually and reporting the results of the review to the school board annually; and
• using our parents and community resources to enhance the education of gifted students.
