Bluestone Market

BES 2nd graders offered a variety of goods and services to sell, with the proceeds going to the SPCA. Some of the offerings included hot cocoa, homemade playdough, hair styling, and face painting.

100th Day of School

Kindergartners at Waterman Elementary celebrated the 100th day of school by making crowns and counting out 100 items to make a special snack mix.

Connecting History, Music, and Art

Ellen Gozion presented to SKMS students the history of Crankies, Appalachian ballads, and music. A Crankie is a long illustrated scroll that's hand-cranked in a box while the story is told or sung.

Long Distance

Second graders at Bluestone Elementary used interactive panels to Skype with students in Guatemala.
